Every week, the class with the highest attendance receives an extra playtime as a reward. Individual pupil attendance is rewarded every half term, those with exemplary attendance are placed in a raffle with the chance for a lucky winner from each phase of school to win £5 voucher. Also, every week that a child achieves 100% attendance they are given a raffle ticket. At the end of the academic year, a winner from KS1 and KS2 are drawn to win a scooter. A simlar draw is made for year 6 children, who have a record of exemplary attendance during their time at Rookeries, the lucky pupil drawn will win a bike.

When a child reads four times at home each week, they receive a raffle ticket. If they read five times a week, they receive an additional ticket. Every week, a winning ticket is drawn for each phase of school and the lucky winners are allowed to choose a book to keep from our reading vending machine.
